Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti went to meet and discuss with different self-help groups in the Panchayats of Rolla, Meru, Badasi Villages. Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti is working to collaborate with Goonj NGO, to initiate a combined effort to help women whose lives have been affected due to COVID. The meetings were held in the presence o Ajit Sir, form Goonj and Indermani Kumari from Jharkhand Mahila Jagriti. There was a positive response to the proposed program of distribution of ration in exchange for work from all the women groups that we met. Both the NGOs are dedicated to taking this relief work forward. Below are snippets from the mertings.
